Pahang Football Association president Tengku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ahmad Shah has suggested that all football activities be postponed to next year to ease the anxiety faced by those in the industry.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, he said those involved in national football, should accept the fact and reality that the nation and people’s interest comes first.
The FA of Malaysia (FAM) and Malaysian Football League (MFL) have suspended the league due to the movement control order (MCO) imposed to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.
The FAM and MFL will wait for instructions and guidelines from the National Security Council and the Health Ministry before deciding on when to resume the league.
