Uncontrolled passengers caused the train to be crowded, and Transportation Minister Datuk Seri Wei Jiaxiang once again apologized to the Chinese on behalf of the Ministry of Transport.
Wei Jiaxiang admitted that the Malaya Railway Company (KTMB) was lacking in handling the electric train car congestion, so he apologized to the people on behalf of the Ministry of Transport.
In a video conference with Umno chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahi on Thursday (7th), he said that the incident occurred in the electric train departing from Port Klang to Tanjung Marin because Due to technical failure, passengers were forced to switch to another train.
“At that time, the train had a total of 6 cars, but the transfer train had only 3 cars. At that time, passengers were not controlled in time, causing all passengers to flock to another train.
“I apologize to the people on behalf of the Ministry of Transport, and have issued instructions that all public transport service providers must follow the standard operating procedures established by the Ministry of Health.”
Wei Jiaxiang said that he urged the bus operators with very harsh words and must cooperate with the regulations of the Ministry of Health.
“I’m very strict with these bus operators to say ‘not an example’. I also hope that passengers can take personal epidemic prevention measures, especially to maintain social distance and wear masks.”
A video was posted on social media on Wednesday, showing that a “personal person” appeared in an electric train in China, violating the Ministry of Health’s anti-epidemic guidelines.
