Bintulu is the most recent green zone in Sarawak, as there are no new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 14 days.
The State Disaster Management Committee said that 32 of the 40 districts in Sarawak are now classified as green zone, while seven districts are yellow zone.
The yellow zone includes Samarahan, which used to be the red zone. The number of active cases has now dropped to 34.
As of Monday (May 11), only Kuching is still a red area with 79 active cases.
Sarawak classified green areas as areas where no Covid-19 cases or new cases were found in the past 14 days, yellow areas ranged from 1 to 40 cases, and red areas ranged from 41 cases or more.
The committee also said that zero new cases were reported in the state on Monday, and Sarawak General Hospital has recovered and discharged nine cases.
The total number of confirmed cases in Sarawak is 543, with 17 deaths.
Currently, 157 patients are still being treated in the hospital, of which 3 are receiving intensive care.
The total number recovered was 369, accounting for 67.9% of the total cases in the state.
