Alibaba’s Business-To-Business Market Launches Online Global Trade Fairs For Pandemic-Hit Merchants

Alibaba.com, the business-to-business (B2B) online marketplace owned by the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group, launched its first global online trade fair on Monday to help foreign traders suffering from coronavirus infections exhibit in most entities After arriving in China. According to a statement from Alibaba, the event will continue until May 24, and it is expected to attract about 200,000 wholesalers every day. The company plans to hold 20 such online trade exhibitions this year.

“The exhibition not only copied all the scenes of the offline exhibition, but also provided a comprehensive digital upgrade,” said Zhang Kuo, general manager of Alibaba.com.

Zhang said the online exhibition will provide participants with short videos about product promotions and more than 1,000 B2B live streaming conferences.
